Whole Person Recovery Approach

Oftentimes, addiction can stem from many different areas of someone’s life, such as mental health issues, trauma, physical or emotional pain, or other daily stresses that may be occurring. Treating the whole person can dig into those underlying issues and fix the root of the problem.BCS has a heart for ensuring the success of individuals with disabilities, those in recovery, and veterans.

Freedom House is an extension of BCS that offers housing, rehabilitation, and focused redirection for individuals who struggle with recovery and/or are coming from the judicial system. Many of our participants are veterans and may identify with various types of disabilities.Our team assists men, women, and veterans in identifying personal goals relating to education, employment, health, entitled benefits, spirituality, relationships, and community participation.

At Freedom House, they learn the skills to find freedom in their recovery struggles, how to get and keep a job, and how to live and do life in a community. We are so excited to currently offer this service in Bradenton, Florida. Program fees are based on income.



- All Program Housing is drug and alcohol free, including marijuana.
- Individuals who qualify must be in danger of becoming and/or currently unhoused, newly released from jail or prison, or are coming from another program

- Women’s House: must meet above criteria and/or and be pregnant or have children in custody under 5 years of age.
- Women who no longer have custody of children or have active State cases are eligible.
- Acceptance into program is done on a case by case basis and is first come first serve under discretion of Staff
- Program fees are based on income on a sliding scale.
